Got yet another question, I want your oppinion on the method of painting that should be used on my Lady Be Good. I have gotten the mixture for Interior green down and am begining to paint the inside of the rear feusalage. Now on previous bombers I have built I have always airbrushed the interior due to the enourmous area of painting required, but on my fighter interiors I have for the most part hand painted them. Now here is my delema, what should I do for the Lady Be Goods interior hand paint it, or airbrush it, and also which is better?
BlackWolf3945-Thanks for the input, as well as the picture, I dont have that one but it seems to be a modern one after her discovery, so it really isnt much use to me due to the fact It has alot of her equipment taken off. But if you could find me a picture at the break in her feusalage I would be forever thankfull, due to the fact I dont have one.
As soon as I can get my digital camera working on my computer that was made in 97 ill post some pics, most likely a step by step picture post showing my project from start to finish, but if you would like to read about what I have done so far you can click this link http://finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?page=8&TOPIC_ID=21681 the post with my progress is twords the bottom of the page. It is quite close to what I have actually finished because I did some more tonight.
I prefer to do things as closely as they were done on the original, and as such I pretend my airbrush if a great big paint spray gun going over large areas. If it was brush painted on the original – such as in the field – I would brush paint it with the tiniest brush I could find, to keep the strokes in scale.
Yeah that sounds like it would work, And I am glad I airbrushed it, I finished painting the rear portion of te bomber yesterday, and now I have to begin the weathering process. And it is looking real good.
