You gota get used to working near it. I spend so much time on my computer. I have had paint from my fingers paint my keys and I have worn said paint off the keys over and over again. I get more paint on my pants then on my keyboard
not that I havent been tempted to paint it. (edit) I said that, then said, ‘screw it’ and I started painting it)
I really enjoy looking at how everyone else has their work space set up. Here’s mine. It’s the other half of the furnace room in our house.
The paint booth is a Paasche vented outside. The counter top table is also a convenient work space when I need to cut mats for my photo business. Unusual for me, I keep this area pretty tidy between modeling sessions. Wish I could say the same for my office. [:I]
Don’t have one. Two TV trays and the couch are my work area in the living room (such is the price of a one-bedroom apartment). I have a couple of parts drawers and a stack of kits set up on the back of the couch, and tools/paints are contained in old kit boxes… I spray paint in the hallway of the building, or over the trash can in the kitchen. My wife does cross-stitching, and she sits on the love seat opposite me.
Works out ok, but I hate having to police up everything when I wanna take a nap…
