Here comes Joe! JS1 that is.....

Here is a couple of pictures of my completed JS1.

It’s the stock OOB DML kit. All I did was scratchbuild the handles on the fuel tanks and corrected the equipment storage to match the few pictures I had of JS1’s.

As always, constructive comments are wanted and welcome. I’m trying to improve my building and painting.

Many thanks everyone.

Thats excellent but I dont see any wear and tear where the crew climbs on.

Thanks for pointing that out. I did not do that.

What is a good technique to do that? I don’t want to overdo it.

Nice looking Stalin Latch. Very clean construction, subtle drybrushing … very nice indeed. You can attain the scuff marks through quite a few different techniques. Drybrushing with a “steel” will give you the right effect if you want to go that way.

Always liked the looks of this big green beast.

Thanks for sharing !!!

Good job Latch. Nice drybrushing and you did a good job on the tracks.

Very nice Latch[bow]. Thanks for posting a picture of it.

Thanks for the compliments.

And thanks for pointing out the need for a little “bare steel” in a few places.

Very nice JS1 there. You did great on the tracks and wheels. I like it.[tup]

hey looks cool to me!![8D][8D][8D]
just one thing, looks like there is a seem which needs filling where upper hull meets lower one at ther rear of the big old beast[:p], or perhaps it’s just the resolution on my pc?
either way, i have dragon’s js2 as a future build and this is way better than anything i could churn out![;)]
thanks for sharing the pics.

You are right!

I’ve looked at that section at least a hundred times and never noticed it. That’s what I love about posting pictures here. You can see things that were missed much easier.

Thanks.

Hmmm…I’m only getting Xs!

J-Hulk,

I’m only getting “X’s” now too. It was working this morning. Ron’s site may have gone down. That’s where I posted them to tie in here.

The page it was on is not on Ron’s site anymore???

I’ll upload again.

The pictures are back on line now.

I sure do appreciate Ron allowing us to use his site.

Good job, looks nice.

Go for it and experiment (slowly, a little at time) adding the wear marks as mentioned above.

Now I can see 'em!
Nice work, Latch!
