Help?

Can anyone give me some help on a project I am working on?

I am trying to find some reference on La-176’s. I believe it is a 1950’s Soviet Fighter and I just am having a bugger of a time finding anything on them! The kit I purchased from Squadron is by Marquette and the Russian instructions are abysmal to say the least!

Thanks

I’m afraid I don’t have any answers for you on this topic, but I do have a suggestion for helping yourself: Be more specific in your Subject title- “Help” on what? This will generate more interest and replies.

Thanks for the tip. I ll keep it in mind for the future.

Here’s a review of the 1/72 kit

Here’s a Russian page with a 3-view drawing and a couple of ‘pictures’

I’ll keep looking for more. I know there’s a ‘bible’ of Soviet aircrafts where there’s info on that aircraft. I just need to get it and see if there’s anything interesting in it… If so, I’ll let you know.

Thanks for the info!

It was very helpful on such an obscure topic.

I am not sure if it is the bible, but there is a book by Alexander Boyd, available used on Amazon that looks promising:

also on ebay, where i saw it first and you can get a better look at it:

(yes, i am the high bidder. so don’t price me out, or i will buy one of the cheaper copies on amazon!)

i have no idea what is REALLY in the book, but it looks like it has good reference potential and it is dirt cheap.

good luck!
