How did the driver sit in the “Archer” 17pdr SPG, or did he stand.

Any one with interior pic’s showing this, thanks in advance.

I just know someone on this forum will have the answere[:D]…cheers…Kenny

Driver was seated but could not remain in his seat when the gun operated because the gun was mounted rearward and he sat in from of the gun. The recoil and ejected casing came his way.

Kenny, this is just a minor considerations, but when you post a question, could you please include a subject,. rather than the completely ambiguous “HELP!” only?

One day, someone is going to have the exact, same question about the Archer driver, and he’ll be able to look it up in the “Search” category using the word “Archer”, and your name will be forever enshrined in his memory because it was You Who Provided An Answer. [:)][:)]
