Help!

I am using an aztek single action airbrush through the mini blue compressor. It gave me a perfect coat of Tamiya nato green but now using flat black it won’t even pick up the paint.

Does anyone know what to do.
Any advice would be helpful

I’m not at all familiar with Azteks but if it is a siphon feed brush there should be a vent hole in the cap somewhere. Make sure that isn’t plugged up or covered by the seal inside the cap. Also check the tube going into the bottle to make sure it isn’t plugged.

Alternatively, give it a good thorough cleaning. Could be some paint has dried in it somewhere and is plugging things up.

I am using an aztek. Clean it out then take the tip off and put the tip in a small jar of whatever (water or thinner) and leave it there over night. Swish it around too. take a paper towl with whatever you clean with and clean out the cup. Put it all together again the next day…thin your black and try again.

If that doesnt do it, buy a badger.

buy a badger

I had the same problem: cause: the @(I#* bottle

That might not always solve the problem. All airbrushes are subject to getting clogged at some point, it’s just the nature of the beast. Sometimes you just gotta clean them out good.
