I am building the Revell AT6 and did a little puttying at the fuselage seams. I have been using nail polish remover to remove some excess putty which works well, but not i want to sand smooth the remainder. I have used masking tape to protect the surface detail along the seams, but what about the surface detail running across the seam? How can one replace raised rivets that are gone? I can’t see a solution for this problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
I put a drop of superglue on a piece of wax paper, then use a piece of fine wire to dip the superglue(if all you have is the super thin stuff, let it sit out for a while to thicken) then just touch it where you need it. Practice a time or two on a piece of sprue or whatever, so you can see what it does.
