I am just getting back into models after a 10 year layoff as hobby while I am on medical leave from work.
I am building the Monogram CJ7 Jeep Kit and I am looking for 4x4 lights and other parts. I would also like to find a source for NASCAR type Decals to add to the Jeep like most Off-Roaders do as they build the truck.
Does [?] anyone know where I can find them without having to buy other kits to “kitbash” as I don’t have the money to build the spares box right now.

Cant help you there Ed but let me be the first to welcome you to the hobby and to this forum good luck in your search.
Slixx sells for the time being NASCAR decals but they will no longer be making them. I don’t know of any other sites out there other than BSR (I don’t remember what BSR stands for though, it has been a while since I have been there. Good Luck)

I’m not sure what kind of hobby shops you’ve got in your area…but most respectable ones have a selection of auto decals. They sell a lot of dragster stuff, and nascar. They also seem to have a lot of gasser decals. The pages are about 6x8 inches and I think run around 5-8 bucks a piece.
I’ve also built a 4x4, and I got a hold of some inkjet decal paper to make decals for it (K&N, Edelbrock, Flowmaster) I just visited the websites of the “logos” I wanted…then just printed them to scale onto decals.
Also, if you do a little bit of research, you might be able to find some sort of model meet near you. Boy, if you can make it to that, there is more junk there than you will know what to do with.
