I used some Uncure to debond CA. It left a white residue and kind of etched the styrene a little. Is there a chemical that will remove the white stuff? Will it cause a problem with paint adhesion? By the way, the rudders on a B-25 look funny when they are installed upside down.
Another lesson learned: “When all else fails, read the instructions.”
[(-D] I’m sorry but that’s pretty funny!! I bet the rudders did look a bit…off. Been there and done that. Anyway, I’m sure you found out that Uncure (as well as de-bond) will eat everything down to the plastic. Been there and done that too. Your gonna have to repaint the area. Just clean the area well with alcohol first.
