HELP NEEDED

I am trying to make my king tiger (ardennes front) like the one seen in these pictures

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/plastic/135militaryminiatureseries/35252.html

I cannot tell wheter the camo pattern was painted by airbrush or by the Tamiya spray cans TS-1,2,3. It seems hard to use cans to make such a good camo, but the only other alternative i can think of is using the acrylic versions of those same colors and using an airbrush. The smooth and even pattern couldn’t have been painted by hand and brush, could it? I’ve halted my project untill i can figure out the proper way to paint it. Can anybody give me a clue of what to do?

I would say by looking at it that it looks to me to be airbrushed. Someone else might have a better idea, but I would say it is airbrushed

It probably was airbrushed. It may be able to do this with spray cans, but you would have to do a lot of masking and be very careful when you spray. If you have an airbrush, go that route with either enamels or acrylics.

That’s airbrushed. Isn’t that a nice kit ?

Yeah it’s airbrushed. Tamiya spray cans are only good for basecoating and not camo patterns.
