I have purchased Eduard’s 1/48 P40 m/n China Sharktooth and have reviewed the instruction sheet and am baffled by the following:
In each section of the instructions there is, in Blue Lettering “Marking B,E,F.” for example, then next; “…Marking A,B,C”. What does this mean? Probably something very simple that I’m missing.
What is the best glue/adhesive to anchor all the little photo etched parts?
Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
If you look at the color profiles/decal placement guides you will see they are marked A,B,C, etc. The instructions are telling you which parts go with which schemes. You have to decide which set of markings you want to model before beginning construction.
For attaching PE parts, most modelers use CA (Superglue).
The markings are probably referring to the paint schemes that may be illustrated in your instructions. Though, maybe someone else has a more definate answer.
For the photoetch parts…super glue is the best thing i know.
Rick’s got it right. That is a common feature with many Eduard kits. The Camel I have has markings for 8 aircraft, and parts specific to each scheme called out that way.
