HELP me FIX!!! Italieri/Testors 20th Ann Lambourghini Broken windsheild...repair techniques???

Good day all,

I ended up cracking the front windsheild to my Italieri/Testors 20th Anneversary Lambourghini. I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to fix this, or replace it with anothe material…its quite disappointing…please email me at Richbasas@hotmail.com if you can help or via the forum!

some Micro Sol Kristal Klear may fix it.

You might try .010-inch thick (.25mm) clear styrene from Evergreen, or clear acetate sheet from an art supply store. And then try to make a new one using the broken one as a pattern?

sorry to hear that, ive seen friends have the same problem.
your chocies are.

  1. order a new windshild from italieri/testors, if possible
    2.buy a new kit
  2. vacuform a new one. if you have access to a vacuform kit
  3. you could always build a diorama with the car in a shop getting fixed?
    well what ever you decide good luck.

How about a diorama with bullet holes all over the windshield, driver’s door opened upwards, and Jonny Depp sitting at the wheel all shot to hell …

This would be the route I would take, or you could even find some lexan which works good as well.
