So, I am working on my F-104 and realized that I don’t have the clear canopy!!! It is the 1/72 Italeri F-104a Starfighter Kit # 1234, Part # 61d.
I have tried requesting from the Italeri website but every time I try to submit the request, I get an error. Not sure if it’s just my end or the website, so I thought I would try here.
Let me know if you have a spare and what I need to do to get it. [8)] The help would be very much appriciated!
I think Italeri is currently imported by MRC. Check their website for a contact point or phone number. The kit is currently available so the part should be able to be had somewhere.
Sorry to hear about your missing canopy piflo1 , A lot of Italeri kits have parts request forms included in their kits . Like the one I posted above . On two occasions I’ve sent away to Italeri for replacement parts I have used the form . Once for a F/A-18E Super Hornet canopy and another time for some decals for a MH-53E Sea Dragon U.S.Navy helicopter . It took about three weeks for them to send me the parts to Australia ; but I was still happy that I could complete both kits , so I didn’t mind waiting .

The funny thing is, as soon as I wait a few weeks and get it, I will probably find it in one of the kids toy boxes or something. I never saw it, but you never know.
