Hafa adai from Guam USA everyone! I have been trying to locate a kit I had some 30 years ago, maybe a re-issue not. It was I think a Mercury or Gemini rocket, but the interesting part was the ganty assembly that came with it? It had all fueling lines and was quite a project. Can’t remember now the compay, but Revel or Monogram comes to mind. Does Anybody have an idea of what I’m thinking of…or a link to a site that might list these kind of hard to find, older projects/
Hi Eric, It was A revell history makers kit. A re-issue with the mercury capsule, gantry, ramp and vehicles. I still have it in my unmade stock.Would look nice with bare metal foil.
Yeah, I got one of those kits for Christmas many many moons ago, and wish I had kept up with it, as it makes an impressive display! If I find a re-issue, I’ll give it a nice SECURE home this time! [:)]
Hi Eric,
Thanks for the E.Mail. I am sorry but I am hanging onto the kit for now. I checked the collectors value and it is well worth keeping in the box for another few years. Try COMET MINIATURES in London. They deal in space and science fiction so if anybody has one lying around they will. They have a web-site.
