Wow the secant sight had some vary good for information and pics on it. I didn’t know that these cars were that limited. My uncle in IL has one that I’m thinking was the only convertible. Not factory. He owned a body shop when I was a small kid and picked his up after someone in Chicago ran it under a semi so he chopped the top off. Thanks for the info and ill get back with some pics of his car and the starting of this one. I even learned how to drive manual on his…
Well I must say that you learned on a lot better machine than I did (1982 Mecury Lynx) . Does he have the one that I saw that cost like half a million $? I sure would hate to have to cut the roof off one of those, guess it would be worse though to be the one that drove it under the semi though. Good luck on your build and look forward to seeing it.
I found a good pic of the inside and stuff this will be good when I need to paint the engine and all.
Anyone know a good way to make a plate for this? I can design one but how do I print it and put it on the model when the time comes?
As I have found out , you can get decal paper and print your own. I have not tried personaly but I did make a post in the general discussion about it and got several answers. You may try looking at that post.
Here is the link to the topic, guess that could have helped a little.

Go to www.carclassic.com and click on the Porsche page and then 959. There are photos of a silver 959 you can purchase (249500 euros if you have that spare!) including 2 interior shots.
