Im working on a small diorama for a 1/48 AH-64, id like to have it on the ground just after a mission in Iraq. Any tips on building the diorama, weathering the chopper in a desert (specificaly the weathering properties of the AH-64) or anything else? Help would be very much apreciated. And were can you get those small engraved plaques?
for weathering ther chopper, use pastels, and alot of them, to simulate dirt and dust from the desert.
Any engraving place that does trophies and whatnot can engrave a plaque for you.

When you are finished please post pictures, I am thinking of building one of that nature also after I finish my B-17 one I am building for my grandfather. He was the gunner in the turret on the belly of the plane.
