hi there! im new to the forum and to the hobby in general. I’m 17 and my dad builds models and i thought i would give one a try with him over the christmas break. i loved ever minute of it so i started looking around the web for tips and hints and ran across this place. ive already found answers to alot of my questions and look forward to learning more!

What types of models do you find you like best?
Oh…sorry…the model i built over break was a monogram p-51…im mostly interested in airplanes…i may also try a car at some point…ive bought a couple of models…p-47 and p-61…all monogram
Good to have you here, plasticsurgeon. I’m pretty sure you could dig for years and you wouldn’t hit the bottom of excellent advice stored in the Forum and the heads of its members. Make yourself at home and don’t be afraid to post questions or pics of your builds. We really like pics.
