As far as posting pictures goes, you’ll want to find a hosting site to use. You upload your photo files to the hosting site, which provides links you can use to link your images here in the forum and elsewhere around the 'Web.
The forum doesn’t use uploading actual files; for Kalmbach, that eliminates the issue of storing the files.
But there are a lot of choices as far as hosts go. I use Postimage, with a free account up to a certain level of storage, which I haven’t yet reached. I just copy and paste the relevant link from Postimage right in to the body of the text in my posts.
The other way to use an image link is to use the Insert feature, and paste a link in the Insert dialog.
I prefere just pasting the link into my posts. For me, it’s simple enough.
