Hi. I’m the new guy. I didn’t see this topic before I’d already posted about airbrushes. Here’s a bit about myself;
I am returning to the hobby after a twenty year absence - I used to build as a child/teen, but then stopped. Now as a 40 year old with two kids, one of whom loves building car models, I’m back.
I’ve built a couple WWII airplanes so far - a Tamiya 1/48 P-51D, and a Hasegawa 1/32 P-51C. I built those at a good friends house who models a lot! He gave me the Hasagawa to build out of his collection of roughly 1,000 kits that he has in his workshop. Building with him has really gotten me into the hobby again, as has teaching my 8 year old.
Right now, I’m waiting for my first airbrush and compressor to arrive so I can start learning how to paint more professionally. I look forward to many years of fine discussions with you all here, and fine scale modeling.
