Hello Mk. II and 1:72 scale scratch built buildings

Hi,

Being a classic newbie to forums I think I messed up my original hello by replying to someone else’s hello with my own introduction. Which with hindsight, seems a bit rude, sorry.

I won’t do the intro stuff again, because I’m not that interesting, but I do want to say hi, and thanks for the replies I had to my first post.

By way of a more interesting (I hope) introduction I thought I’d share what I’m trying to do. I’ve just “finished” these two 1:72 desert dwellings which will be going on my next big diorama project. I made a build-along with loads of pictures on my blog for how I did them if anyone would like to take a look. My method is (I suspect) pretty ropey so if anyone can give me some tips for improvement, that would be awesome.

Cheers,

Jonathon.

I dunno ;

What’s your problem ? Tint them and weather heavily and you’re home free .Looks good to me . T.B.

Thanks! For now they’ve been based and added to a war game base/North African diorama. It’s a bit of a mixed bag. All fixed in place in the foreground, but all mobile pieces in the background. I think I’ve made the new buildings just a little too big …

There’s a few more pictures on my blog and this whole thing folds up into 4 small boxes.
