Hello and thank you for having me join. Been making models, on and off, since 1954 my first being a Lockheed F-94 Starfire. Then Airfix kits by the score. Now retired I just need something to do.
I want to build two aircraft models in particular the Boeing Stearman PT-17 and the North American A-6 Texan both of which my father trained on at number 1 BFTS Terrell Tx in 1942. We visited Terrell last September to take a flight in a PT-17 but the airsuwas cancelled due to torrential rain. I need some information regarding the 1942 colour schemes. Thank you Diko.
