Hello, my name is Ahmet and I’m a 22 year old med student that started this hobby with a gift from my girlfriend 
She got me the revell boeing 737-800 (03772) after hearing that 737 is my favourite civilian airliner. Honestly I had no idea what i was getting myself into. I had no clue what I needed and to be honest, a civilian airliner was a very bad place to start. Wasnt a smooth start at all and still its sitting on my desk waiting to get finished. Then i bought the tamiya m41 walker bulldog (35055) and that was very delightful to do. And right now im working on tamiya’s m151a2 mutt (35125).
I think ill be going with ground vehicles for a while and keep it simple until i set aside enough money for an airbrush. Also ill probably stick around with tamiya as they really fit those pieces cleverly together.
I absolutely love the hobby and its really nice to find a helpful and warm community. Ill be posting my models once i finish them properly. Have a good day everyone!

Welcome! Sounds like you have great girlfriend. I enjoy building airliners and the 737 can be done in soooo many liveries - I’ve done a few and have more in the stash. But shiny things require a bit more care than beat up muddy dirty armor. Build what you like. Good luck with your studies.

She is a keeper for sure. Ill stick with the muddy grimy vehicles for now because i just cant do the glossy shiny seamless bodies lol, broke too many antennas for that (and too much putty and too many mistakes that i just want to wrap that model up). Lessons learned though

I really do like coffee, but the name is actually an intentionally crude translation of my surname. The surname itself ironically comes from the fact that my great grandparents REALLY loved coffee. Runs in the genes i suppose
