Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I’m 48 years old and am really looking forward to getting back into this fun and rewarding hobby. I’ve always been a casual modeler but have recently decided to dive in and turn a spare room into a fully equipped modelers dream. My first step was getting the thumbs up from the wife which was surprisingly easy. I just mentioned that with a hobby room she wouldn’t have to spend so much time trying to keep me entertained. I think she was ready to take me to the hardware store herself…
So this weekend i’ll be clearing out a 10’ by 10’ room and start laying out what I need. I’ll be checking with everyone here for advice often.
Thanks everyone. It’s going to take me a while, first need to clear out all the frilly stuff and paint. The room was my wifes office that she kindly gave up for me, gotta love that lady. Been browsing for some ideas on a permanent spray booth, my old cardboard one is just not cutting it.
