Hello everyone! Long-time lurker on the forum and finally decided to start contributing. I’m Brandon Katzung Hokanson from Minnesota USA and I got back into scale modeling and figure painting around 3 years ago after taking several years off due to college. I am interested in a variety of subjects, though I mainly work on 1/35 World War I subjects. I also occasionally dabble in American Civil War, WWII, sci-fi (big Star Wars fan!), and fantasy subjects too. I really love making dioramas and vignettes that prioritize story telling.

Thank you! I just started attending my first one last year! I entered some things at NordicCon last fall and a few pieces at the Hope It Don’t Snow show in Rotchester this spring. Really enjoyed them, so I will for sure be attending more shows this year!
Thank you! Finished my third (and hopefully final) degree last December in fact! Completed a BA in history and two MAs in history and teaching. I’m a high school history teacher now, so I have more time to squeeze in for the workbench!
