Just a quick hello to introduce the latest Kiwi newcomer, having reached the ripe old age of 50+ I find I have a little time to experiment with modelling again. I want to explore weathering and detailing of the kits I build, 1/48 WW2 PTO Aircraft and some 1/32 WW2 Armour, and often found this site while Googling. The decider to join has been the recent purchase of an Accurate Miniatures Avenger (George Bush). This will be completed in NZ colours depicting the aircraft as a member of the 30 Squadron (Gisborne, my home region) contingent as delivered to the Pacific to begin operations.

Hopefully I will get more ideas and help from those that have already this kit.
