This is my first post here and I thought I would say hello.
I have been building plastic models off and on since I was a kid.
I am 41 now. [:0] Haha
I started building them again several years back and then lost interest, but I have a renewed interest in them again and am looking forward to discussing them here on this forum.
I mainly build aircraft models from WWII to modern aircraft in 1/48 scale, while I have my son build the 1/72 scale because they require less detail. [:)]
We also like to build car models sometimes.
I have been an airbrush artist as a hobby since 1994 and I paint mostly on textiles like T-shirts, so I hope I can help out on any airbrush questions that might arise. [:D]
Welcome to FSM Mike. It’s good to hear that the flame for modelling has been rekindled in you. Hopefully hanging around here will turn it into a flame.
It’s nice to hear that you and your son are doing this hobby together. Some of my best memories was building 1/72 scale aircraft models with my older brother and my dad. It was fun. Theirs always came out good; mine looked like a glueball with specks of paint. But they never laughed…just encouraged.
Once again welcome and enjoy!
