My name is Jeff and I live in Springfield, MO. I work for a Petebilt truck dealership as an autobody repair technician. I’ve been doing bodywork for 16 yrs now, mainly on big trucks. I’ve been into scale modeling since I was a little kid. I took a break for a couple of years and now I’m ready to get back in. I’ve been building Sci-fi stuff and I think I might switch gears for a while and do some armor. I’ve been reading the forums for a while. You guys do great work and are very knowledgeable about your subjects. I’m looking forward to tapping into that, so get ready for some questions because I haven’t built a piece of armor since I was a teen. Looking forward to talking to you guys. If any of you build big trucks, I know alot about those - so ask away! One other thing, do any of you live in or near Springfield, MO?

I don’t live real close. About 210 miles, according to my Motor Carriers atlas, just outside of Fort Smith, AR. (I don’t drive anymore but, I have been to and through Springfield more than I can remember).
I usually make a bi-yearly trek to Bass Pro Shops but, now that they are opening one in Broken Arrow, OK, I’ll probably only get up through there when I go to St. Louis to visit my oldest son.
