hello everyone

i am a very happy subscriber to FSM and enjoy modeling - though i don’t have much experience. if anyone reading this can point me toward any B26 Marauder discussions that would be much appreciated. also, is anyone out there interested in creating a Marauder or WW2 medium bomber GB???

i also have a P40 Warhawk and a Jug in boxes - maybe these would fit into some other GB?

Thanks. very pleased to be a member of this community.

Welcome [snWcm], B-26 discussions? Not sure if there are any at the moment. Why don’t you start one?
Bomber GB? Well there was a Ground Attack GB that just ended. There is a 1941 GB, a 1946 GB, those might work.

Welcome to the forums! [B] [snWcm]

Your Jug would fit in the 1946 GB, take a look and sign up!

The B-26 would fit into the World at War 1941 75th Anniversary group build, if you did an early version. No medium / bomber group builds going on at the moment.

Oh, and I would suggest participating in an existing Group Build rather than starting a new one. You get to know everyone on the forum and at the same time show what you can do. [:)]

Welcome to the Forums!

I am the host of the 1941 GB, and invite you to look us over. Depending on the markings and specific model , your P-40 might also be a contender.

After a disastrous encounter with Airfix’s old Blenheim, a P-40B is what I’m contributing myself.

hello Gary. the B26 i am going to build wasn’t in service in 1941… same for my P40E… i will look out for something appropriate as the year goes on. i’ll be in touch if i get something…

Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the welcome! my P40 is an E and it will be in AVG-China livery, so, they didnt start getting any E types until early 1942… It’s an AMT 1:48…

Thanks for pointing me at the 1946 build but i am going to be hard pressed to meet my JGBv. commitments and also build the others i want to do this year…

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard!

Cheers mate. My family is originally from Dorset. Bradpole… but that was a long time ago. i do stay in touch with a lot of Brit friends from my Army days… they live all over - not sure if any in Norfolk… i’ve only been to London and Kent area… oh, and i’m a Southampton supporter…
