Hello, I am new to the forum, but I wouldn’t say to modeling, although I consider myself a novice. I have done a lot of models over the years, but was very inactive for a number of years due to family, career, etc…
I’m an assistant prosecutor in civilian life and a medic in the national guard. I have always been fascinated by WWII aircraft, and model 1:48 scale of all types. As a kid, I wanted to be in the Air Force, that is until I found out they didn’t fly P-38 Lightnings anymore! I also enjoy the occasional 1:24 / 1:25 scale car, being a bit of a gearhead at heart.
At last count, I had twenty kits waiting to be built, and just cleared off the space in my basement (again, thanks to kids) to get back to it. In addition, my wife was kind enough to by me a Badger airbrush, so hopefully I can figure it out and make use of it.
Sounds like you need to get started on those kits you have sitting around! Get that a/b fired up and lets see some of your work.[#welcome]to the forums.
glad to have ya here mr. ward. we share the same enthusiasm about WWII aviation. ofcourse, we’ll be expecting some photos of your work asap!!LOL later.
Well, I think I can figure out how to post pics eventually, once I figure out how to load them from the camera onto the computer…I am not the most computer savvy person around. Not a technophobe, but just never get around to figuring things out.
