G’day all.
I’m bidding on this (and am absurdly confident) at TradeMe, our local eBay clone, and I was wondering what the quality is like.
Here’s the auction (and in case you’re wondering, pixe_chiq is Ms K5054NZ)
I’m intending to build it as a local Nord 1002 which was converted some years ago to have a Lycoming flat six. Fun huh?
I’ve always felt it’s one of Hellers better offerings. Even with raised panel lines, it builds up into a rather neat replica. Not to mention in 1/72 scale it’s the only game in town. I believe Eduard has a PE set for it. I’ve got one built up and one in the stash.
Thanks Quincy. Any chance of pics of the built up one?
Thanks, you just solved a long lasting mystery for me. I saw one of these at an airshow, and I could never identify what it was. I thought it was some civvi Luftwaffe enthusiast with a repainted Piper.
No problem Matt [8D].
After a bit of searching I found a review online.

If you ever see the film ‘The Battle of Britain’, the two German fighter aircraft in the film are actually BF-108’s (in reality they were FW-190’s). I’ve always liked this aircraft. I’m going to one day build the Eduard one. It’s in my stash, with extras for Afrika Korp (one of the rear seats is replaced by a drum).
