US army has it. it is called m1000 and trailer m1007.
I believe Accurate Armour came out with a HET last year. VEERRRY expensive from what I hear.
Can only imaginethe size of the kit. I’m a truck driver and the real HET is MASSIVE.
I have 3 Tamiya M-26 tank haulers.I’ll never build them.
For modern transporters, early 1990s onward, the Super HET is the correct model. M1070 tractor with M1000 trailer. Here is Accurate Armor’s model at a price of $400+, too much for me.

For Operation Desert Storm and earlier, through the mid 1970s, the M911 HET is appropriate. I forget who does one of these, but there is also a resin version of this one. Also way too pricy for my pocket.

Tamiyas M25 Tank Transporter is not right, it is a WWII vintage. Not large enough for an Abrams by far. Also, the M15 trailer could only carry 40 tons. Abrams weighs 70 tons.
The M25 was upgraded during the Korean war with the M15A2 trailer that was strengthened to haul up to at 60 tons and widened so it could hold larger tanks.
During the late 1950’s, a new tractor was designed to go with the M15A2 trailer, the M123A1C tractor rated at hauling 10tons. This was the standard transporter from Vietnam through the mid '70s till replaced by the M911.

There it is, the “when I hit the lottery I can get this baby” model, Accurate Armor’s HET. Impressive as all get out, but the price tag is just too much for my humble means. Maybe they’ll farm out the design to someone to make a plastic version for us poor devoted hobbyists?
