On the 1/35 dragon panzer IA there are 3 headlights on the front, 1 bigger one that has a clear piece for the headlight assembly, the others a kinda tiny and have no clear piece. How would you go about paint either?
I assume the one with the clear peice you can just paint the inside silver or use some foil before putting on the clear cover. What about headlight replication with just paint alone for those small headlights?
There are a few methods you can use. You can drill it out, paint or foil the inside in silver or chrome, and put a small lens in it from M.V. Products, which are model railroad lenses in varoius sizes. You can drill it out, paint or foil again, and fill it with clear epoxy. Or, you can use chrome paint to paint the lens, then put a few coats of clear gloss over it to give it some depth. All work pretty well, it just depends which you like the best.
