Put this under materials page but thought I would put it up here as well. Under the Cousin brand I found 2 inch long pins in packages of 100 and 200 at $2.00 and $4.00 respectively at Walmart. Eyes are right at 2 mm ID and 3.5 mm OD and the head pins are right at 2 mm diameter. Wire is bendable fairly easily and is approximately .75 mm diameter. Saw them in silver, brass and gunmetal finishes. Looks to be about an even split between head and eyes in the package. In the bead/sewing section.
Might be usable for eye bolts, tow cable eyes, heads might work for rivets in some places.
