Sir, you did a fantastic job on this build. I love how accurate the invasion stripes are portrayed, it looks so authentic. Can you share with us on a step by step process you utilized in creating the invasion stripes? I’m apprehensive and unsure of my technique in doing the invasion stripes. I’d like to know how this is accomplished. Thank you for sharing this amazing build. What a great job!

It is the 1\24. As for the build, it is long. I had trouble fitting some the engine panels. May have been my fault, but most would have left them off anyway.
These were my first D-day stripes, so I was apprehensive as well. I painted the area white. Then masked the 3 white stripes, and painted the two black stripes. After that they were masked and the rest of the camo applied. On this one there is no turrets so masking was fairly straight forward. I’ve watched your wip’s, I don’t think you’ll have any trouble with d-day striping.

I found the pictures of the invasion stripes. I painted the area white, then massed the parts to stay white, painted black, the masked the entire area.
