I messed up my canopy for the 1/32nd scale Revell Hawker Hunter. I tried to get raplacements from Revell but to no avail as it is discontinued. I don’t know whether requests for buying and selling are permited in the forum, I appologise if not. But I wonder if anybody reading this might have the Hunter’s two piece canopy in their spares box and are willing to separate with it?
Hmmm, they said they can’t replace it because it’s discontinued? That’s a pity, it’s a wonderful kit. Try www.aircraftresourcecenter.com, they have a lot of users and one may have the canopy you’re looking for. I myself have the kit, but I rather need the canopy as I plan on building it…
I have since heard through ARC that Revell has plans to bring out a Hunter Mk 6 this year and the canopy was exactly the same shape as that of the FGA.9. So perhaps if I wait till that kit comes out I can then order a canopy replacement.
