Oh wow, haven’t heard this in a while. I still have a bottle of Diosol and several of Floquil Old, Bright and Platinum Mist Silver. Almost as good as Alclad for a slight weathered NMF look.
You are right about the Floquil silvers, pj. They were great. I’ve never used Alclad, because Floquil’s silvers were so good for NMF. They were tough, and could be masked–without pulling up the paint.
Like you, I bought several bottles that I’ve been keeping in reserve.
I like Hataka Orange Line. I thin with Hataka’s thinner, 50/50. Sprays great and Hataka’s thinner has much less odor compared to other lacquer thinners. I purchase Hataka paint and thinner from Sprue Brothers.
I really like Hataka’s Ral and Rlm colors…they are based on true paint chips.
