Which aftermarket ones are best?
As far as I know, there are only 2 metal options on the market. Schatton-Modellbau and RB. I have the latter, but they both look very good sets. Though the RB ones have better looking collar’s at the base of the barrels. I had thoughts Aires had done some resin ones, but I can’t seem to find them so maybe not.
I got Master Model barrels for my Stuka kit. They seem pretty high quality. I was unable to find the Schatton-Modellbau barrels earlier this Spring.
I had not realised master had released some as well, they do look nice, very similar to the RB barrels. Though the master ones do seem a lot more expensive than the RB, in some places twice as much
I had originally ordered the Schatton ones but could not get could of them, I am glad I couldn’t now as the RB/Master ones do look nicer.
