Has any one hear built the Hasegawa HE-111. If so, how is the kit, are there any problems and stuff like that. Thanks in advance.

David, I just finished one back in May.

Fit is great throughout except for the gap at the wing roots on the underside. These are best filled with styrene strips to not loose the surrounding details with filler.

Get the Eduards mask for the canopy. WELL worth the extra green. They fit perfect.
David, I built one a couple of years ago when they first came out. I too had a gap at the wing root but overall it is a great kit. My biggest mistake was not realizing that the landing gear bays are handed and I got them mixed up some how which made getting the landing gear in properly a real [censored]! Other than that I used Eduards coloured PE set in the interior and it really helped set it off

I 've built one as well but don’t remember any gaps. Ah yes the memory fades with age, but it is indeed a great little kit. Like razordws said, I recommend the PE interior.

I thought I heard somewhere that the re released kit had PE included. Is this true?
David
Didn’t hear that…maybe belts but I doubt the entire interior pre-painted set. it costs almost as much as the model.

…I have a few in my stash…they did release some with a little PE (belts, sight rings) but the Eduard offerings are top notch…the biggest knock I have seen in reviews are the heavy handed panel lines…I saw one built up in a mag recently where the guy took the unusual step of filling all the panel lines and rescribing to get a more subtler appearance…it was cherry when completed…other than that the kit (as well as their JU88) has gotten great reviews…by the way, some very nice builds posted on this thread of the 111…
