Hasegawa F-86F-30

This is the Hasegawa F-86F-30 with the Eduard Colored PE set. It was a great build, I did it for our clubs Natural Metal Finish subject…

Enjoy!!!

Great build! What unit do the markings represent?

You know I don’t remember, I’ll have to check the instruction sheet. The kit had two very colorful sets, I let my wife choose which set I should use…

Very nice [tup]. Great work on the NMF.

Regards, Rick

Very nice! 1/48??..Harv

Superb work on the Sabre, especially that natural metal finish. A gorgeous rendition of one of my favorite jets.

Wow, that really is a stunning Sabre! I agree with the others, the NMF is especially nice. Well done! [:D]

Very difficult to go wrong with a NMF Sabre. Beautiful work! [^]

Sorry, yes it is the 1/48th scale kit. Just an FYI Revell Germany uses the same kit for thier F-40 along with some additional resin parts. I know this because I lost my instrument panel for the Hasegawa kit and found the identical parts in the RG kit so I casted a copy…

Also thanks for all the kind words on the NMF, I used MM Metalizer, Burnt Iron and Aluminum and clear coated with MM Semi-Gloss.

Amen to that.

Great work on the Sabre!

Bona Fide COOL!

Pretty dang gorgeous job on that. WOW!

RossJr,

Beautiful Sabre! Definitely up there as one of the best looking fighters IMHO.

Thanks for sharing.

I’m not to familiar with the early jets but it sure looks the part! Is it 1/48th Scale? Very nice looking!

Beautiful Job! You really aced this one. How does the detail compare with the academy kits?

It looks like a good kit.

[#ditto] to all of the above - very nice work!!

Ken

Hot diggedy, shes a real beauty. Real top shelf work.

It is a far better kit than the Academy kit. I think I might have mentioned that Hasegawa shared these molds with Revell Germany it’s the same as the F-86F-40, I have both kits and they are identical…

looks great! good job on the NMF… gorgeous bird, thanks for sharing!
