Hi interested to know is anyone working on or already completed a hasegawa 1/8th Sopwith Camel ? If so I’d love to see some detailed photos of the build !!

Yeah built that when it first came out along with the SE5 and the DR1 for in store display when I worked for the big model shop here in Holborn, London UK (ok Beatties). If I remember correctly it ended up in the London Toy Museum. These were interesting if tedious builds from what I remember. Recently the DR1 was done as a magazine shot here in the UK. Imagine buying a bit or two every week and having to wait a week for the next bit!

Hi nice pics Gary I’ve just taken possession of one of these kits (customer build ) and wanted to see what one looks like builtup it’s certainly a very nicely detailed model my aim with this build is to replicate alot of the plastic parts eg machine guns and engine in brass !! also I will be replacing the plastic wheel discs supplied with the kit with fully scratchbuilt numbers also from brass.
