Hasegawa 1/32 Messerschmitt Bf109F-4 Trop H.J.Marseille - Ready for inspection

Well, finally das is it! My first 109.

OOB, with PE seatbelts, canopy masks and Quickboost tropical filter.

I made many mistakes from which I have learned for the future.

It is what it is and I’m mostly satisfied with how she turned out. Among other things, I obviously need to work on my canopy painting skills.

I was lazy and just wanted to finish her so the tires are not weighted, although it would definitely look better. Maybe I will do it one day…

Anyway, on to the pics:

And some WIP cockpit pics:

Excellent finish and the cockpit is very well detailed!

Thanks Eugene. Appreciated!

Hi, Nikola -

That’s a very fine 109, excellent job on all of it. The cockpit is first rate, and your canopy framing looks perfect to me. Thanks for posting, and the super good photos.

Patrick

I dont see any problem with the cockpit canopy framing either. Nice job

Thank you Brandon. Very glad that you like the end result.

Nikola

Thank you very much Patrick. Appreciated!

As for the canopy, I am not fully satisfied as some transitions from frame to glass are not as sharp and defined as they should be.

Nikola

Thank you Wpwar. Very glad that you like how she turned out.

As I said to Patrick about the canopy, some transitions form frame to glass are not as sharp and defined as they should be.

Thank you Jeaton. Appreciated!

Is it possible that Imgur deleted my post without my knowledge because of the swastika on the plane’s tail?

Your pics from June show a swatiska on the tail

You can see the pictures because I made a new post on Imgur, but I am now keeping it under hidden and not public post.

Very nice work! The pit is excellent!

Stay safe.

Thank you Jim. Much appreciated!
