Hasegawa 1/32 Ki-43-II HAYABUSA (OSCAR)

Here is my 2nd Japanese plane in 1/32.

Kit is built out of box. Hope you like the pics

Nice.

Erickson Collection in Madras, OR has one (IIRC, the only airworthy example). Is in the original “squiggle” paint, well worn. Only problem is was re-engined to a P&W since original engine was impossible to find.

Nicely done CNQ !

Chris

Nice. I always thought the Oscar would have been a great sport plane.

Thanks for comment guys.

That is a sweet looking Oscar!

Very nicely done. Not overdone on the chipping, but just enough.

Yeah, really nice work there!!! And the Ki-43 wasn’t that big a plane in real life so she’s a natural in 1/32nd.

That is a fantastic example of an 1/32 Oscar! Great job!

Toshi

Good looking build. Very nice looking and I love the low key weathering. Excellent.

Nicely done! Painting and canopy masking are superb. An excellent addition to your display case you should be proud of.

Great Oscar, I would love to know where did you get the markings.

Frank

Very nice work you got there!

Great looking Oscar…thanks for sharing.

Thanks friends for comment.

Thuds,

The decals came with the kit. However I did not use them on the wings. I airbrushed the meat balls using template I bought from artist shop.
