This is a comission build using the Hasegawa 1/32 long nose Dora. I added lots of plumbing in the gear plug area to busy things up. The seat belts weredone using masking tape and spare buckles. Markings are for late war machine Blue 2 from JG 3 in 1945. Paints were Model Master enamels and streaks made with artist oil paints. Flory Washes pop the recessed details.
Thanks. This is an older kit but very nice fit and nicely molded IP. It is lacking the riveting details that I added to one I built for myself. Wasn’t done on this one cause of the added cost. You will need to add some plumbing to the main gear plug to busy it up some. An AM Revi gun sight will add more detail but it’s up to the builder. Seat belts are missing in this kit and is a must. AM decals will be a better choice than using the included ones.
Over the years I have built mostly armor. A couple years ago, I thought I’d try my hand at aircraft again. Something I hadn’t built in may many years. Anyway, I came across your project here and it looks very much like the 1:32 Hasegawa kit I built in early 2021. I made it “Blue 4” from JG26, so there are slight differences, but it looks like its twin. Maybe I will post pics of it as a separate thread. I’ll have to relearn how to do that as I haven’t posted for ~10 years, I think. Anyway, I think you’d get a kick out of that.
Great looking lange nase 190 PJ. One of my favorite aircrat. I had that kit then sold it as I don’t have much room for 1/32 scale stuff… gona have to build another soon in 72nd scale… maybe the IBG kit…
