Hi all. Finally finished. I loved this kit 99% of it went together sweetly. I got to painting the model and had a change of heart. I have loads of splinter scheme models so went for the winterised scheme. I was quite disapointed with my last builds paint so wanted to practise doing tight squiggles. They came out well as i used them for the base, then generally filled the gaps with more white.
The Eduard PE set was great, really bringing the pit to life. I tried to get a shot of the rear gun as it has PE ammo belts x2 feeding it. Anyways have a look and let me know what you reckon. As usuall comments and crits welcome.
Wasteland, the kit is 1/48th. It would be pretty bland without the Eduard set though.

Blackwolf. Yes the Eduard kit did come with some pre painted etch and you have to see it to really appreciate the stuff. As i said there was even PE ammo belts but i just couldnt get a good picture.
Once again, Thank you all.
Next project…1/48 P40N with loads of PE also a King Tiger in 1/35. I know, theres no prop on em but…LOL
Thx Chris, 1stly i did a rough splinter of RLM 70/71. Then i did a tight squiggle pattern all over. Mainly because i wanted to try to master the ‘squiggle’ pattern after my disastrous results on my previous posted 262. I mixed the paint a little thicker and lowered the air pressure to about 12-15 psi and it worked a treat. After the squiggles were done. I backfilled with white more generally.
