I preordered one from Greatmodels.com back in July, but I haven’t received it yet. Their site still shows it as a pre-order item. I thought that Eduard already released the kit. Wasn’t it sometime around the IMPS nationals last month when the planned release was going to be? I was just curious if anyone has received one and if they got it from someone other than through Eduard directly, like through greatmodels.com.

As I understood, Eduard sold the kits at Nationals ahead of the planned release to the public.

I’ve got one on pre order from Great Models too. I called a few times, and they still don’t have stock. One reason is that they have been taking pre-rders since February…wish I would have known that back then!

I bought one from the Great Models booth at the Nationals. I got a call from my LHS yesterday notifying me that they just received a bunch of them and have them on the shelves.
Darn, I guess I might have to cancel my order with greatmodels if I can find it in stock somewhere else.

I just ordered one from Squadron. I am a little bit chapped, though as I’ve been checking thier “pre-sell” and 'new" categories nearly every day and never saw it. And, about a week or two ago I did go through all the Eduard kits and it wasn’t there.
Well, it’s on the way, so now I need to cancel the Great Models order…or not. I’m not sure. Two is better than one, isnt’ it? Except Eduard might come out with a different version soon like they did with the 190.

I suggest that you definately wait until you get either of your orders first, and then decide if you wish to cancel the other.
With Squadron, my track record is out of six items I have ordered, I have received two, so the odds are not too good there. Presently I have an item on back order with them from two months ago.
I don’t know how some of the mail order hobby dealers “slip under the wire” when it comes to FTC rules regarding interstate commerce, and generally sloppy customer satisfaction policies.

I have to say that my experiences with Squadron have always been good. The most recent purchase I made was the Royal Class Fw 190 and it went really well. However, that can always change…

Sprue Bros. has 38 in stock. They have the best turn around time of any place I have ordered from.
I would definitly get more than one. All the decal options are so good that you’ll want to build four.
I think I’ll wait for the other varients to be released to buy more [swg]

I just called Squadron and they said it was shipped and should arrive on Monday! I can’t wait!!
Ordered mine from Sprue Bros. yesterday. It shipped an hour after I clicked “Submit” on their site.

Man, this kit is intense (read: intimidating)…! Eduard doesn’t fool around.
Not sure I’m worthy.
