Bill,
Bill,(Warshipguy), got knocked off the site with most everybody else, got back on very briefly I believe, but has again been unable to get logged back in. He did all the usual steps but no luck. It got frustrating.
I will be emailing him this week and will inquire if he would like assistance again in getting back on. I suspect he could get logged in with Crome in “Incognito” mode but he did not try that suggestion yet.
He and Gene1 were deep into Carrier discussions by email recently. Gene’s Yorktown is the pièce de résistance of OOB builds of a OOP/Vintage kit.
These two guys got me interested in CV’s again. Bill has the best insights into many of the Carrier kits and Gene suggested I read a book about the sinking of the Shinano…and viola! I had to go buy a carrier. Got the Fujimi Shinano full hull kit.
Gonna start taking vitamins- gotta live to 108 to finish my stash.
Jim.
Jim,
Thank you for the update. Keep us posted, anything we can help with.
It’s fun to see these old Revell Renwal carrier kits get new life online.
I’m about to start a model that the other Bill Morrison got me interested in, so I was looking forward to his input.
As always your brother on deck detail.
Bill
I miss warshipguy too , would love to have him back .
thanks nino , for all you are doing for these brilliant modelers ,
vitamins , aren’t going to help me mate .
Bill has heard the call.
He is going to contact the powers-that-be.
I sent him the Crome Incognito mode option too.
He was so pleased with the concern that he went and
ordered an Academy 1/600 USS Enterprise CVN65 model.
Models. A cure for what ails us.
