I went to Amazon last night and the language on all pages was set to Spanish (I had clicked on a spanish vendor-that was the cause). I went to google about how to reset it. All the hits referred me to google pages about language settings- of course, in spanish! I can no longer use Amazon! I dont know what to do now.
Just to the right of the magnifying glass icon by your Amazon search bar, you should see a flag icon. Click on the flag, and that should give you a drop-down menu that allows you to select between English and Spanish.
Better yet, learn Spanish!
Strange thing there. I had something like that happen on Modelversium. I had to quit out because I couldn’t figure out how to “un translate”.
Alternative, click on your name, when that page opens, at the very bottom is a language selector.
And another one under ‘settings’…just click on English.
I don’t log into (or stay logged into) Amazon unless I’m getting ready to place an order, so occasionally when arriving there from a search it’ll come up in Spanish. It was weird the first time, but after that it’s just another random deal of everyday life.
Thanks, Eaglecash, that worked and is easy.
The reason I coudn’t use the settings is I don’t the spanish word for setting.
Hi Don;
Funny you should post this. I went to a site, and no matter what I tried I couldn’t get it to change. It was in Russian!
