This is next one on the workbench. Just started. I’ve already made some small changes to the fuselage. I’ve read a lot about the inaccuracy, and it being a challenging build. If anyone out there has built one, what were the issues that you ran into, and how did you fix them? Thanks in advance.
Go to Large Scale Planes. com, in the “Works in Progress” forum search “Hog’s Firepower Display - A-10C - Full Makeup” by Red Dog. Really amazing build and he did a lot of corrections to the kit for better accuracy. There’s also a link in Red Dog’s WIP from a guy named Chuck Sawyer, “Putting Lipstick on a Pig of a Kit”, another fantastic build. HTH.

Im am currently building it now
Thanks a lot for the thread Steve. A treasure trove of information for me to go over.
Thanks for the reply. I’m just curious as to where you are in the construction process. So far, I’ve made corrections on the fuselage, put together the elevator and vertical stabilizer assembly, and put one wing together. (took me a lot longer than it should have to put it together. All kinds of stuff to putty on the wing)
