Yes, a very Happy Fathers Day to all the dads on here. It will be a mellow one for me, as most of my kids are out of the area this weekend.
Happy Fathers Day all. I don’t have anything planned except sleep in and relax. Throw a few burgers on the grill and leftover chicken and roasted potatoes from today’s b-day party for my son. Maybe head out to the movies.
My original plan was to head out to Geneva where there’s an Air Museum. I’m too lazy to make the trip 2 hours away. LOL!
My ideal Fathers Day present would be a ride in a hot air balloon or a P-51 Mustang. One can dream, eh?

Now that my daughter is living independently, it sure is fun to watch her grow up.
Yes, it is great to see your adult kids in the grown up world succeeding. I got a call from my son yetsterday morning and he is taking to Air Force life quite well.
Another “Hallmark Holiday”- I got stuck spending it with relatives I can’t stand.
I miss spending the day with my late Dad, many years ago. We always had a great time.
