Do you guys do your handpainted details before or after a clear gloss coat? I usually handpaint details directly after the base paint. My thinking behind this question is that gloss coat protects the base coat and makes it easier to remove detail painting mistakes without affecting the base paint.
I will have everything painted before any clear coats
It depends on what the details I’m painting. More than likely after.
